RE: Cats on airplanes
I flew from Denver to Tampa several times with my cat as carry-on. The airline charged me an extra $50 each way and I had bought a Sherpa soft side for him. During take-off and landing, I would stow him beneath the seat in front of me. But during the flight I would have him in my lap still in his carrier. He never had any bathroom accidents, but you should have a litter box available as soon as you possibly can (like waiting in the car for him). He never made any noise until it was time to disembark, then he would meouw faintly. It was always the only time anyone ever had any idea that there was a cat on the plane. I did make sure that my seatmates were not allergic, and would have had the stewardess get someone to change seats with me if any had ever been allergic. But you must make arrangements with the airline ahead of time, as there are a limited number of animals allowed on each flight. Good luck.

This is Zelda, she has taken over the job of guarding the truck since Vestor crossed the "Rainbow Bridge". And a mighty fine job she does of it, too!!
